Mr. Hovet stated Plymouth Creek is a unique neighborhood and that the 1980 value of this property was $143,900. MOTION was male by Councllmember Vasiliou, seconded by Councilmember litur, to accept the staff recommendation to reduce the 1987 estimated Markel value for Tony kruenke, 18525 6trt Ave. to $203,500. Mr. kroenke stated he has had three realtors to his house since the first Boaro of kevlew on June 2. He listed the Items and the cost to replace them if he wants to sell his home. CounellmWier Vasillou stated these are cosmetic and shouldn't enter into market value. She a(led that she doesn't understand why the City should reduce the value because of cosmc.tic problems. Mr. Ho -%et stated the Ferndale North neig;iborhood is very stable; there is no such thilig as a bad lot or depressed sale in Ferndale North. There are a lot of compdral les af.d they are all within the $210,000-$230,000 range. Motion carried, five ayes.
