The Council dtr( -%ted that space be allotted In Plymouth on
Nt)rade to let restdtnts know of significant developments which
have been approved to Include large scaie residential, comer-
clalltndustrial site plans, and retail,
Councllmember Sisk stated he wcuid Lfke Cable Channel 7 to shou
propkosed developments as well; not ;just approved projects.
Manager Willis stated that the Governor has proposed to reduce
Plymouth's local government aid by $31,300 (Sol%) and homestead
credit payments by $879000 (6,7%). The Council can klize funds
from, the unaudited General fund unappropriated fund balance,
reduce expenditures l.ri the 1986 budget through the -,liminatlon
or redact ton of progr,ims and act 1v lt, ies, or a comb lnat ton of the
two to cope with this situation.
The Council asked Nandger WILLIS to present altea-natives dt the
Februar; 20 study meeting.
Manager Willis stated there is no proposed change in water
charges but the proposal is to increase the sewer charge wh.t;th
Is pree:lpltated by the Increase to the City from the Met.ropo.11-
tan Sewer Bodrd. The estimated imtpart on an average home is a
7,2% InCrease frocs $1.33 to $1.06 per 1,000 gallons based on
winter month usage.
