A regular •eeting of the Plymouth City Council was called to
order by Mayor Davenport at 7:35 p.m. in the Council Chambers of
the City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard on Aprit 18, 1983.
PRESEMT: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Threinen, Neiis,

PRESENTATION
Mayor Davenlwrt stated that this is the first Police Department PRESENTATION -
C~ndatlooi Award ever given. He introduced Public Safety COMMENDATION AWARD
Director Carlqulst who described Sergeant Larry Rogers' efforts TO SERCEANT LARRY
to arrest the person making terroristic phone calls which ROGERS
resulted in the closing of 154 Outstanding cases in 19 different Item 6
cities. Mayor Davenport presented Sergeant Rogers with the
Commendation Awit.rd for his extraordinary achievement.
PROCLAMATION
Mayor Davenport read a proeldmatlon designating the week of PROCLAMATION -
April IS -22 as Minnesota's Annual Building Safety Week. BUILDING SAFETY
