HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1970-513{iVI L £ G OF PLYMOI"TI i, LA _ Ii Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 21st day of Pecember, .070. The following members were present: it Mayor Hilder Councilmen Johnson, Kindseth, Hintz and Spaeth. No one if was absent. I Councilman Johnson introduced the follocaing resolution and moved its adoption: i RESOLUTION NO. 70-513 1 WHEREAS, Kenneth Schiebe requested R-3, R-4 and B-4 zoning for his property in the southwest corner of Highway 1!101 and County Road A6. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILt.AGE OF PLYMOUTH: The Village Council is willing to accept the present plan presented by Mr. Kenneth Schiebe with the following conditions and variances which. are to be preliminary to a decision for approval of the rezoning request. 1. The setback from the south property line is to be 175 feet. 2. Eliminate the townhouses and make it R-4 exclusively, increasing the amount of open space. In addition, it is the council's wish to see the setbacks on the west to allow an adequate buffer to the potential development to the west and not interfere with the possibility of a single family development on the west. 3. Reduce the size of the commercial building from 76,000, square feet to -a maximum of 55,000 square feet. 4. The apartment access intersection road on the east side:of the intersection is to be moved west and be 120 to 150 feet from Highway #101. Further, that it be divided into two separate T intersections rather than the present straight crossing. 5. A right of way dedication of 27 feet along the entire east border of the property adjoining Highway 9101 and 20 feet along the north -border, County :Road N6, for approximately 400 feet, exclusive of the Hennepin County right of hay for turn lanes. 6. The petitioner shall see that there 13 an easement road connecting the public road to the west border of the property. 7. It is the intention of the council that :his entire project be classified as a Planned Unit Development under one single ownership and management. ly 1 if i }� Page 2, Resolution No. 70-513 i .t �f The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hintz, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: MAyor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson Hintz and Kindseth. Councilman Spaeth voted naye. Whereupon the j Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
