SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
April 20, 1977
A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was
duly called to order at the City Hall in said City on Wednesday, April 20. 1977,.
at 4:30 P.M.
PRESENT: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt and Spaeth
ABSENT: Councilmen Neils and Seibold
The Clerk presented affidavits showing publication and posting of notice of
election, which affidavits were examined and found atisfacCory and ordered
placed an file. The Clerk then presented the official returns of the elettion
officials of the special elec.-Aon Feld in and for the City on April 19, 1971,
on the question of issuing bonds in U,%e &,vunt Gf not to oxreed $4,560,000
for the purpose ,. pro- Iding mon,-r Fur the develcga rent of parkland and related
par4R and recreatictival facilities for the Central PArk Project.
The said returns were duly examined and canvassed and found to be as follows:

MOTION was made by Councilman Spaeth, seconded by Councilman Hunt, to adopt
Resolution No. 77-211 as follows:
BE IT RESOLVEC by the City Cowici 1 of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota,
that it is he.eby found and deterniined that at the special election held
in and for said City on April 19, 1977, to vote upon %,he que;tior- of
issuing bonds in the amount of not to exp ..pd $4,560,000 for the purpose
of providing money for the acquisition and development of parkland and
related park and recreational facilities fur the Central Park Project,
them, were cast a total of 3,812 votes, of this 1 ,lr' :t were in favor
thereof and 2,672 were against the ive, and 9 were moiled or defective
ballots, and said proposition is hereby declared defeatoo,
Motion carried on a (doll Call vote, three ayes.
