Motion carried, three ayes. Gouncilmer. Neils and Spaeth abstained. The petitioner requested the rezoning of wroximtely 12 SS MANY - REMM acres located at the northwest corner of the intersection FROM R-0 TO I-1 (NOiRTN OF ,\ of Highway SS and County Road 9 ,from R-0 to I-1. 'the HI(I y SS B army RDAD 9) subject property Would be used by Berge on -Caswell, Inc. Item 4-A for an office buildirt and storage faciwities, and by the Kleven Floor Covering Company for an office and warehouse facility. the property is adjacent to land presently zoned industriAl, and the proposed Guide Plan indicates Industrial 4se for the land. The staff lkes had several meetings with the petitioner over the past eight montlus relative to this rezoning request. Mr. Poisson and W. Bergerson were both present at th¢ Council meotthg. There was much di; :.,1tssion on this request and Councilman Spaeth asked if the General Development Plan %could have a bearing on whether we accept the proposed outdoor torge of equipment, the General Development Plan is intended to show the area being :ezow with the structures on it; the intent is to show only location of structures. 'the Manager reported that the Villago had been requested to consider the issuance of US0,000 in Revenue Bonds for the Trl-St4,te Auto Auction Caapany, lie indicated that the Company would appreciate the Council's thinking concerning the Village's interest in approving such bonds. 'Che Council iidicated that they did not desire to issue Revenue Bonds for tics type of project, and further they would only consider issuing Revenue Bonds for major indust-rial developments, School District #284 is presently constructing an addition to the high school and a new hockey ME District 0284 is presently getting Ovate, fi= Wayzata, but cannot meet their fico flow requirements from that aystem, they are requesting to hook up to the Plymouth water system, but the matter of water special assessments has not been resolved. The 1Wmger recoronended that they be permtted to hook up to our supply, pending a resolution of the special assessments.
