HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1970-477VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held oc the 16th day S' of November, 1970. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz and Spaeth. Councilman Kindseth war absent. t *es fe* Councilman Spaeth introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption. RESOLUTION NO. 70-477 WHEREAS, Gary Freund of the Northern Preferred Company, 928 Midland Bank Building, Minneapolis, Minn. asked for a subdivision waiver on Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, Block 4, Schiebe's Highland Vtew Addition. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE CC:'NCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: 1. That the requirements of Ordinance #66-1 of the Village of Plymuth passed on January 10, 1%6, and filed on April 6, 1966, in Book 1035 of Miscellaneous °Records, page 497, Register of Deeds, Hennepin County, Mine&ota relating to the,conveyance of ;parcels of land lass than five (5) acres in area and 300 feet in width are hereby waived an to the following described lands: Tract A.- That : That part of Lots lt 2 and 3, Block 4, Schiebe's Highland View Addition, according to -the plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the Register of Deeds, Hennepin County, Minnesota, and the Easterly h of vacated Francis Avenue described as follows; Beginning at the Southwesterly corner of said Block 4, Schiebe's Highland View Addition, thence Southeasterly along the'Southwasterly line of said Block 4. a distance of 135.0 feet; thence Northeasterly parallel to the Northwesterly line of said Block 4, a dis- tance of 155.0 feet; thence deflect to the left 30 degrees In a Northerly direction for a distance of 51.24 feet; thence Northwesterly parallel with the Southwesterly line of said $lock 4 and its Northwesterly extension a distance of 129.37 feet to the centerline of vacated Francis Avenue; thence Southwesterly along said centerline of Francis Avenue a distance of 199.93 feet, more or lose, to its intersection with the Northwesterly extension of the Southwesterly line of said Block 4; thence Southeasterly along said extension a distance of 20.0 feet to the point of beginning. Tract B: That part of Lots 1. 2, 3 and 4. Block 4, Schiebe's Highland View Addition, according to the plat thereof an file and of record in the office of the Register of Deeds, Hennepin County, Minnesota, and the Easterly 4 of vacated Francis Avenue and South 'h of vacated Florence Avenue, described as follows: 1 t i ;Page 2, Resolution 070-477 Commencing at the Southwesterly corner of said Block 4, Schiebe's Highland View Addition; thence Southeasterly along the Southwesterly line of said Block 4, a distance of 135.0 feet to the actual point of beginning of the tract to be described; thence Northeasterly parallel to the Northwesterly line of said Block 4, a distance of 155.0 feet; thence deflect to the left 30 degrees in a Northerly direction for a distance of 51.24 feet; thence Northwesterly parallel with the Southwesterly line of said Block 4 and its Northwesterly extension a distance of 129.37 feet to the centerline of vacated Francis Avenue; thence Northeasterly along said centerline of Francis Avenue to its intersection with the centerline of vacated Florence Avenue; thence East along said centerline to its inter- section with the Northerly extension of the East line of j said Block 4; thence South along said extension and the East line of said Block 4. to the Southeast corner of said Block 4; thence Northwesterly along the Southwesterly line of said Block 4 to the point of beginning. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly accorded by Councilmen Johnson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the,. 'i following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, '- Hintz and Spaeth. No one voted against.
