MINUTES OF A SPECIAL VILLAGE
COUNCIL MEETING
PLYMDUTB, MINNESOTA
JANUARY 7, 1970
A special meeting of the Plymouth Village Council was called to order by
Mayor Hilda at 5:1.0 P.M. in the Village Hall.
PRESENT: Mayor Hilda, Councilmcn Hints, Kindeath, Spaeth and Acting Clerk -
Administrator Barnes.
ABSENT: Councilman Johnson
A Review of the 1970 Village Employee's Salaries was discussed and re-
viewed at length by Council members present, who had made a previcus
review before the meeting.

adopt RESOLUTION N0, 70-196 A RESOLUTION TO SET THE SALARIEr OF LLL EMPLOYEE SALARIES
VILLAGE EMPLOYEES, EXCEPT THE PUBLIC VORR3 "LOYEES, WHICH IS ON
FII.B IN TBR OFFICE OF THE ACTING CLERK-ADMIKISTRATOR OF THE VILLAGE
OF PLYMOUTH. Motion carried 4 aye roll tall vote.
A discussion was held at length in reference to organisation and it
was unanimously decided that a Merit System shall be instituted for V4("r
all employees effective January 1, 1970.
It was also stipulated that the Acting Clerk -Administrator shall re-
late the feelinpts of the Council to the Police Department in such
manner; "Because of the professional nature of police work and be-
cause of tha fine job the Plymouth Polica Departnent has done, it is
the intent of the Village Council to institute a Merit System effect-
ive January 1, 1970".
MOTION was made by Councilman Spaeth, seconli by Councilman Hintz to
adjourn at 7:30 P.M. Motion carried 4 aye wrote.
