ONCE41ER 18, 19Qo9 A spacial minting of the r"suouth Village Council was ' called to order by Mayor Hilda at 5:45 P.M. on December 18, 1969 in the Village Rall. PRESENT: Mayor Wilde, Councilmen Johnson, Rtnts and KIndeeth. Engineers Ragan and Jim Olson, fire Chief Bauer, Councilman -Elect Spaeth and Acting Clerk -Administrator Barnes. ABSENT: Councilman Humphrey Mayor Hilda discussed the matter of hookup in the Southwest Sewer Project In respect to meeting the proposed deadline as tentatively promised to the public in that Area. Mr. Olson stated he Was not prepared to give such a report at this time. The Council requested that Mr. Otto Bonestroo have a repos' for the Council by January S, 1970. Personnel Action Forms were presented by Acting Clerk -Administrator Barnes in respect to Street Dept, personnel and Councilman Kindeath requested that action be delayed for two weeks until a final study had been nada by himself and the Acting Clerk -Administrator in respect to action being taken by the Negotiation CA=alttes and Local 049. No further action was taken. MOTION was rade by Councilman Johnson, second by Councilman Hints to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 694719 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CHANGE ORDER 01 ON PROJECT 169-1D TO AMERICAN PIPE SBRVICRS IN THE AMOUNT 0" 9,325.16. Motion passed by 4 aye roll call vote. LOTION was made by Councilman Johnson. second 6y Councilman Hints to adopt RESOLUTION N0. 69472, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FINAL PAYMENT TO AMERICAN PIPE SERVICES FOR PROJECT 069-l3 IN THE AMOUNT OF 11808500164 Motion papsed by 4 aye roll call vote. Councilmw2 Uinta informed the Council that it has been indicatud by Mr. Paul isf the Mission Farm that one acre would be considered to be donated 0 the Village of Plymouth as a Fire Ststinn site. Councilman Hints ala* related that %'-he Mission Farm property was being used for anowmobiling without authorisation and it was suggested that tae Village make some arrangemant with the Mission Tare in policing such activity if they so desire, to have this type of activity within the Village. They do not want to assume the liablUty of snowmobiling on their property, but would consent to such use it the Village would assume such responsibility. Mayor Hilde referred this mutter to a cow ttee of four to etrdy the mutter and it's luplicutions. The four committee appointees nre: Chief Hawkinson, Attorney Lefler, Park Chairman Norris and Councilman -Elect Spaeth. Councilman Johnson presented his report on orgaaisation of the Planning Commission and a discussion was held at length. SAID RESOLUTION TO BE STATED IN SUCH FORM: r THAT IT IS THE EXPRESSION OF TRI COUNCIL THAT ONE ADDITIONAL PAID HOLIDAY BE GIVEN TO THE VILLAGE ZOWYEES FOR 191E YEAR 1969. TO BE TARED ON DECEKBER 269 1969 OR JANUARY 29 1910. Y SAID HOLIDAYS ARE GIVEN TO EXPRESS THE COUNCIL'S GRATITUDE TO THE S O=LAYEES FOR THE FINE JOB TEST HAVE D= IN ASSUMING ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITY DURING THE TRANSITION PERIOD OF THE PAST YEAR. IT WAS FURTHER STIPULATED THAT IN THE EVENT AN EMPLOYEE MIDST WORK ON BOTH DAYS THE DEPARTMENT READ WILL REPORT SUCn A SITUATION TO THE ACTING CLERKNADMINISTRA70R AND A DECISION WILL BE !LADE AS TO THE DATE THE EMPLOYEE WOULD BE GIVEN OFF LATER, BASED ON EIGHT YOURS OR ONE DAY. Motioa passed 4 aye roll call vote, MOTION was made by Councilman Johnson, second by Councilman Hints to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 69475, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DISBURSE- MENT OF THE GENERAL FUND MM THE FIRST NATIONAL HANK OF WAYZATA IN THR AMOCNT OF $87,573.66 FOR THE PERIOD YNDING DECEMBER 186 1969. Motion gassed 4 aye roll call vote. NOTION was made by Councilman Hints, second by Courcilman Johnson to adjourn the meeting at 6:40 P.M.
