The Council d.•scussed the hiring, on a contract basal, of Mr. Rudy Frigaard to assirt in the ingvectiott of this project. The Council discussed recommendations and apj%ointments to the ?Metropolitan Sawer Board and in the special it•-r:tirg, nassid a resolution recommending Mr. Milton Honsey. Councilmen t;!ndseth an-, Johnson had, during the pre- vious week., made extensive phone calls and had extensive discussions with all the neigbboring villages and it was vscortalned that all Ll.,r ue,iboring villages would support Mr. lionscy. Mayor llilda,,40 the approval of toe Council, approved this membership with Mr. Ha old Kindseth appointed ks Chairman. The Clerk -Administrator reviewed some of the iroblems that the village is experiencing between swimming And boating conflicts at Charlie'A Beach. The Clerk -Administrator stated that het had received cummunicatiin c,n this problem from W.C.C.O's. Action Newel and said that Ile would rake Certain racommen lctions which would ;solve the ,)robl ,m. He further said that tie would inform Action News of his Action. Mr. Fred llafner anti Fred Steiner of the Plymouth Prl.de Fvorce± presented the Pride Fortia lake Improvement Committee report of May 9, 1969, Ilse report made .12 specifi c recomh;endations to the Council and they approved the recommendations presenud with the clualif lcntione that: budg0t approval must ae reviewed in ligkit of the whole budgut during tP.d Augunt and Sept- ember budget hearinae. The Council Cher: reviewed the` project list P.ad directed the Administrator to develop a civic center financing plan and recommen=ded procedures in approaching the problem of -getting the village additi1nal building space for public crorke facilities and village hall, and to Oresent a plan for financing the purchase of the civic center site.
