MINNESOTA June 20 1969 A regular seating of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was called to order by Mayor Hilda at 7:35 P.M. on June 2n4 s 1969. Present: Mayor Hilae, Councilmen Kindseth, Johnson, Hints and Humphrey; Administrator Splinter, Attorney Lefler and Engineer 11onestroo. Mr. Al Normal developer cf "Little Peninsula" multiple complex, Can Rallcki and John Voss of Urban Planning Deoipul appeared before tt,e Cow%cil regarding Mr. Herman's request for :.soning from R -U to R-4 of the Northeast quadrant of West Hadicine Lako Road and Minne- sota Railroad. The P1a4nin4 Commission denied the request at their April 30, 1969 meeting. Them followed a discussion of a proposed park site. Mr. Iderman stated the park site designated to the plot plan will be provided as a public park for the Village to be main- tained by the developer, unless the Village wished to take over the maintenance and development themselves. The Council agreed the dev- eloper should maintain the park. An easement will have to be given to the VJilage for public use of the park awes. Theta followed a discussion regarding the density of the multiples. Planning Commrissioner James Radtke stated their concern was for less density than the propmed plar. The revised plan included under- ground garage proposals, mansard roofs, three stories high* three units with thirty apartments and two units with twenty apartments.
