MINUTES OF,SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
PLI1MOUTH, MINNESOTA
February 20, 1969
A spectal seeting of the Village Council of the Vi11 -ge of Plymouth,
Minnescita was called to orAer by Mayor Hilde at 9tV P.M.
Presenit Maygr,Hilde, Counallmen Hagen, Hints, Hipphrey and Johnson.
Administrator SpItater.
MOTION by Councilman Hagen, second by Councilmar; Iohnson, to direct
the proper Village officiaht tp negotiate the p,.irrsha e of the Gleason
Lake and Dasa take park sites as approved and Froposed by the Park
Commission. Mo ion passed by a five aye roll call vote.
MOTION by Councilman Humphtey. second by Coim cilman Hinta, that if
negotiations art unsuccessful. tht Village will proceed with the con-
uesnation of these sites alter WD approval,. Notian passed by a fives
aye roll call voce.
Councilman Hints ,reported that his attenp!; to negotiate a contract w;lth
Hamel Volunteer Fi':ro Department had been unsuccessful. They objected
to the proposed coutract because there vas no guarantee or retainer

MOTION by Councilman Humphrey, second 1.4 Mayor Hilde, tp atthorise
further negotiations basad on a $500 yearly retainer and $125.00 per
hour or $600 yearly retainer and $1M per hour.
Motion and second were withdrawn.
MOTION by Councilman Humphrey. second by Mayor Hilde, to authoripe
negotiations with the Hamel Volunteer Fare Department on the basis of
a $500 or $600 yearly retainer with hourly raids from $125.00 per hour
to $100.00 per hour wt 0t grass fire calls !the hourly cost) to be
applied to thp?ea.rly rotainer. Motion passed by a four aye roll call
vote. Councilman Johnson voted nay.
The meeting was adjourtiee at 10:25 P.h.
