PLYMOUTH VILIAGE COUNCIL SPECIAL HEETING December 14, 1968 J Present: Mayor Uilde, Councilmen Hagen, Hunt, Humphrey and O'Fallon. Councilmen -elect Hints and Johnson; Administrator Splinter. Mayor Hilde stated the purpose of the meeting as being to settle on approaches and offers the Village is grilling to make in extending the option on the Axel Erickson property (approximately 35 acres, south of Highway 055 on the west side of Fernbrook), The Mayor and Administrstcr reported on an early meeting with the E Ickswa6s and their attorney. The Council discussed a number of alternate courses of action. Motion by Councilman O'Fallon, second by Councilman Ilunt to authorise the Mayor to offer an option on the Erickson property for 90 days at $19200.00 an acre with $1,500.00 option cost to be applied to the purchase price and the Village assume the real estate broker's fee. Motion passed 5 aye vote. MOTION by Councilman O'Fallon, second by Councilman Ilunt to authorise the Mayor, if the above passed offer is not accepted, to allow the $1,500.00 option cost not to apply to the purchase price. Motion passed 5 aye vote. MOTION by Councilman Humphrey, second by Councilman O'Fallon to authorize , if the above two approved motions fail, the execution of the existing option on the Erickson property.
