MINUTES OF SPMIAL MEETING OF
VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH, MINNL,OTA
October 29 1968
Pursuant to due call and notice 'hereof, a special meeting of the
Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota# was held at
the Village Hall, 13800 State Highway #559 Plymouth, Minnesota.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Al Hildeg Jr. 04 8:15 ptmt
Present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hagen, Humphrey and Hunt., and
the Village Administrator.
Absent: Councilman U'Fallon (arrived aw approximately :00 p.m.)

NOTION by Councilman Hi gen, second by Councilman Hunt, ' ,o adopt
RESOLUTION N0. 68-2249 A RFZOLUTION AU'THORIZI110 THE MAYUR AND
CLERK-ADAINISTRATOR TJ EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH MIDWEST PLANNING
for a study of -approximately 2,,500 acres in the area surrounding
the intersection of Interstate 494 and Highway 551 with one-half
the•coet; to be paid in 1969 and the other half in 1970. Notion
passed 1)y a four Frye vote.

NOTION by Mayor Hilde, second by Councilman Hunts to adjourn this
meeting .at 10:15 p.m. Notion passed by a three kine vote. Council=
man Hagan vrted nay.
NOTION by Councilman Hagen, second by Councilman Humphrey, to
adopt the revenue section of the budget$ with -the except).on of
property taxes and the addition of $800.00 tc miscellaneous
receipts and $1036 to uales tax receipts. Notion passed by a
four aye vote.
The Administrator gave an explanation of his adjustments of the
1959 proposed budget wrich would reduce the budget from the mill
levy of 52.77 to approximately 40 millet To reduce the budget
to the 39.05 mill level, cuts in expenditures of $1429230 and an
addition to misce:laneous revenue of $800 and sales tax revenue
addition of $19436 were made. Mayor Hilcle stated lie had gone
over the Administrator's cuts and had some adjustments wf his
own, the result of which would be a mill levy of approximately
40.25 Millet Councilman Hunt stated he felt ltaR proposed adjusted
budget would be approximately 36.35 mills. Councilman Hagen
stated his proposed adjustment to the 1969 Village btadgat would
be approximately 35 millet Councilman Humphrey stated he ware
of the opinion that the budget should be in the area of 40 to
41 mills. Councilman O'Fallon stated he did not have an opinion
of the amowi% of levy at this timet
