Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the
2nd day of November, 1970.
The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson,
Hintz, Kindseth and Spaeth. No one was absent.

Councilman Hintz introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 70-455
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PARTICIPATION
OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH TO ENGAGE IN A
POLICE -SCHOOL LIAISON PROGRAM AND FOR THE
VILLAGE OF NEW HOPE TO ACT AS A GRANTEE
FOR INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT #281,
BROOKLYN PARK, BROOKLYN CENTER, ROBBINSDALE,
CRYSTAL, PLYMOUTH, GOLDEN VALLEY AND NEW HOPE.
i WHEREAS, the Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Crystal, Golden Valley.
New Hope, Robbinsdale, Plymouth Police Departments in cooperation
with Independent .School District #281 are submitting an appli-
cation for funding of a Police -School Liaison Project.

!i WREREAS, the Brooklyn Park, Brooklyn Center, Crystal, Golden Valley, New
Hope, Robbinsdale, Plymouth, Independent School District #281
i have requested the Village of New Hope to act as grantee for
the Police -School Liaison Project, and administer the funds in
behalf of Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Crystal, Golden
Valley, New Hope, Robbinsdale, Plymouth Police Departments for
the period of September 7, 1971 to June 30, 1973.
NOW THEREFORE., BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
r PLYMOUTH:
That Lawrence Watts, Finance Director, Village of New Iiope,
is hereby authorized and directed to execute such a grant
as requested by the Governor's Commission on Crime Prevention
and Control to implement said project.
The motion was seconded by Councilman Johnson and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor of the motion: Mayor Hilde,
Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Kindseth and Spaeth. No one abstained or
voted against.
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

Council of said Village held on November 2, 1970, with the original thereof
!Ion file in my office and the same is a full, true and complete transcript
'!therefrom insofar as the same relates to a Police -School Liaison Program.
