HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1970-438`i VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID 'P Pursuant to due call and nrtice thereof, a regular meeting of the ?i `Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the ;i 19th day of October, 1470. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Kindseth and Spaeth. The following member was absent= E Councilman Mintz. :i :1 Councilman Johnson introduced rhe following Resolution and moved ;(its adoption: f RESOLUTION NO. 70-438 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for a Three Wheel jSweeper bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law and !the following bids were received complying with the advertisement. Bidder Amt. of Bid i Hall Equipment, Inc. $11,055.00 1 MacQueen Equipment, Ine.$17,486.00 WHEREAS, it appRars that MacQueen Equipment, Inc. of 595 Aldine 1 Street, St. Paul, Minnesota has submitted the bid deemed to be the most I i ;advantageous to the'Vfllage. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH, j "1. The Mayor and Village Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with MacQueen Equipment, Inc. of 545 Aldine Street, St. Paul, Minn. in the name of the Village of Plymouth for a three -wheel sweeper according to the apecifications therefore approved by the Village Council and i on file in the office of the Village Clerk. 2. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed." The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Kindseth and upon vote being taken thereon, the followin}, voter± in favor thereof: Mayor hil.de, Councilmen Johnson, Kindseth and Spaeth. No one abstained and no one voted against. Whereupon said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. i j . i r Vr 1{ Page z.
