Mayor Staples is c educed Jim LANE 3' Olsous of the ennineering firm, who stated that the amount for over- layins the paving portion would be $1,OCO and he imuld recommend that the entire street be sealeoated for a cost of $720. Ile stated that It would cost approximately $0.00 per front foot for the paving and sealcoatinR. itayor Staples opened the heartup to questions and o comments from the floor and the folloidng appeared James Schwellenbach, 515 noantico Lane - Stated that he wouldg be in favor of improving a temporary road that is proposed to last only about five years and granted to know why a permanent road improvement had not been done on this street. tayor Staples informed him that before the pavinp project was started an announcement was made that anyone wishin+t a permanent street whould petitienin for the same and a credit would he applied toward this street from the sanitary sewer assessment and no had petitioned. iyron Christopherson, 350 Quantico Lane - Stated that Ito feels that the street was put in as aRreed by the V111aae and that the street and sanitary aetmr are in correctly and he does not want the pavement "idened. Csral losckey, 500 Quantico Lane - lta feels that the road shou:d be lowered and lie would he in favor of a permanent street with correct grades. Ve is not in favor of the widening of the present paving. No one further aopearad and Mayor Staples declared the 1'learina closed at 8:15 p.m. Councilman O'Fallon stated that the people who appeared did not s-iem to want time additional five feet of hawement.
