HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1970-437i VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 19th day of October, 1970. The following members.were,,present:.Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Kindseth and Spaeth. Councilman Hintz was absent. Councilman Johnson introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: II RESOLUTION NO. 70-437 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Sewer Improvement Project #69-1,8-A on Medicine Lake Drive and 26th Avenue North bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complgtng with the advertisement. Bidder Amt, of Bid Bidder Amt. of Bid Gideo Construction $63,933.00 Nodland Associates $67,959.00 Beatson & Kelly Cont. 71,137.50 Erwin Montgomery 72,178.75 Widmer Bros. 76,620.00 Krohn Drainage'Co. 83,757.50 C. S. McCrossan 87,279.50 Woodrich Construction 88,795.50 Don Anderson Co. 96,655.00 Barbarossa & Sons 100,978.75 and, WHEREAS, it appears that Gideo Construction Co. of 7217 77th Ave. N., Minneapolis, Minn, is the lowest responsible bidder. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH:- "l. The ,Mayor and Village Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with Gideo Construction Co. of 7211 77th Ave. N., Minneapolis, Minn. In the name of the Village of Plymouth for Project No. 69-1,8-4 for a sewer improvement on the streets listed above, according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the`Village Council and on file in the office of the Village Clerk. 2. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed." i I Page 2. Resolution No. 70-437 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Kindseth and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Kindseth and Spaeth. No one abstained or voted against. Whereupon said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF HENNEPIN SS. VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH) 1, the undersignedi being the duly qualified Clerk of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a regular meeting of the Village Council of said Village held October 19, 1970, with the original thereof obi file in my office and the same Is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom insofar as the same relates to a bid award for Project #6971.8-A.
