HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1970-436EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH 4 OCTOBER 8, 1970 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the S Village Council of the Village of Plymouth was held on October 8, 1970 j at the Beacon Heights Elementary School, 12315 State Highway #55, � commencing at 7:30 P.M. The following members were present: Councilmen Johnson, Hints, Kindseth and Spaeth. Mayor Hilde was absent. }f Councilman Hintz introduced the following resolution and f moved its adoption: } i "RESOLUTION NO. 70- 436 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE USE OF EMINENT DOMAIN TO ACQUIRE PERMANENT AND TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENTS FOR SEWER, WATER AND � t STREET PURPOSES,:(PARKERS LAKE SEWER AND } WATER PROJECT /70-1,0,8-A). BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: it 1. It is hereby determined to be necessary, proper and expedient �N and in the interest of�the public health. convenience and general welfare of the ettisens of the Village of 'Plymouth to ttt acquire permanent and temporary construction easements for Parkers Lake sewe*, water and street purposes, (Project i70 -1,0,8-A) (or roadway construction purposes or storm 'i sewer purposes or whatever) the property described in schedule "A" attached hereto, located within the Village of )j Plymouth, County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota. j 2. The Mayor and Village Attorney of the Village of Plymouth f are hereby authorised to acquire the necessary lands for j the aforementionedpurposes and to takeL any and all legal (; steps necessary tri such proceedings." i 1` The above action wai.seconded by Councilman Kindseth and upon s� vote being taken the following,voted in favor thereof: Coucilmen Johnson, Hintz, Kindseh and Spaeth.
