A regular meeting of the Vi.l l a p -t Council was called to order by b,ayor

Present: A.ayor Stalples, Tr stees O'Fallon, Renner, Hagen and Hiint, the
Village Administrator, Attorney and Engineer.
Absent: None.
Invocation was given by Rev. David Lindblom of St. Philip's the Deacor.

LOTION by Truavae O'Fallen, neco:.d by Trustee Hunt, to approve the minutes
of the regular meeting cf Det:ember 12, 1966, with the following correction:
second by Truelee Hunt, to approve the Well License for E. H. Renner and

Mrs. E. Burger, requeuted a barricade of a 30 foot strip of land abutting RF: REQUEST FOR
her property an the north anti of Lot 9 and the wort 1/2 of Lot 8, Block BARRICADE OF 13TH
1, City View Acres. Attorne.f Lefler stated that he is reluctant 'to AVE.
recommend that any rtreet which is dedicated to the Village biz barricaded
or vacated.
Engineer Ponostroo stated that he did not think 'that we should lose
easements whsn we have them ')ut that it is very doubtful that 13th
Avenue will ever he cut through. He would recommend that 12th Avenue
be extended through and 13th Avenue be a dead and but that we i;eep the
easement for a picssible pedeeatrian wal;cway.

Council go out and view this proposed vacation or barri.caue before iry
action is taker. and that the Council meet on Satuntay, January 7th, at
10:00 a.m. at Oth Avenue North and de ride then whother to hold a public
hearing to vacate this strip of land. Notion pasaud by a five Ayb vote.

garding this meeting and the Engineer was directed to be present.
The Council acknowledged the letter received from r.r. Duane W. Horton,
118 Saratop, , Lane, regarding temporar;r ditching at S.eratoga and Trani -on
Laneu to . •e l ieve the drainage from this street onto h,ic property. The
Administrator was directed to notify Kr. Norton tha'c wie will attempt
to do uoire0iing on this matter immediately with better coordination
between 'khe Street Super'inten-lent cane. the Engineer.

by a five aye vote. Trustee O'nLIlon asked whether the Council could
receive copies of the School Boned meting at which the sites wan
determined. Dr. Snyder, Superintendent, stated that -these could be
sent to the Council members.

Attorney stated that they were informed that a merit step type pay plan

that they had run into) a problem off 23rd And D:edicine Lake Ih:ve.
Thrre iu 200 feet where aeaer must be put in and piling must be driven.
This piling will coat an additional $8.00 a foot or 41,00,00 snd would
