Egil Wefald, Vill.%•,,e Engineer, reviewed the preliminary report dated
June :15, 1966, which included the roadway design, drainage, roadway
cross section, the right-of-way, v.,tility w.ncations, and future sub-
division development provigions.: The proposed :.asi, width 80 feet
where alignment permits. The total astimatod cost - 9137,900.LO.
Ai.S..a. ptVs S125j900.00. The assessable cost - 3.131800.u0, which

Mayor Staples reported that the Finance Committee deemed it advisable
to establish and designate an additional depository for funds of the
Village and after appropriate .nvestigation, it wzLn.recommended that
the Fir:;i, National Bank of Xinneapolls be so designated. Mr. Victor
Cla.asen and h'.r. John Coulter, representatives from the First National
Bank spoke to the Council about the proposed investment grogram. Mayor
Staples announced that the investment of the funds would be coordinated
among the Bonk, the Village and the F4'rTineer,

Addition, anA recommended t`kut the rearranlrement be approved on c.)ndition
that when the building permitF are requested, that sufficient elevations
be furnished.
Responding to an inquiry as to whether ttto immediate and adjacent prop-
erty owner would object to filling in a swampy area, mrs. T. Kluck, the
owner of Lot 14 in Medicine Lake Park 3rd Divioinn, plus other property
next to the area proposed for filling, questioned the proposed drainage
plans. The areas i•hich are proposed to be filled are parcel 3450, a
pions marked "Park" (not dedicated) in Medicine Lake Park 3rd Division,
also Lots .1 to 13 inrlueive, Wirl Lot e 45 to 18 inclusive, all in Block
12, Rearrangement in Medicine Lake 11ark 3rd Division, also Lots 7 and
8 in Jevne's Subdivision of Medicine Lake Park 3rd Division. Rr. James

Mr. James Hill of Pemtox requested a temporary aa.avenger system of
disposing of the iiewage for the Pemtom area. This would consist of
approxiaately 10 homes for about two months. MOTION by Mayor 13tapleva,
