HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1970-422EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF VILLAGE COUNCIL OF PLYMOUTH, AINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth was held on the 8th day of October, 1970, commencing at 7:30 P.M. at the Beacon Heights Elementary School, 12315 Highway 155, Minneapolis, Minnesota. The following members were present: Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, kindseth and Spaeth. The following member was absent: Mayor Hilde. Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. (Levy #5102 A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING AND _ADOPTING THE ASSESSMENT FOR STORM $EiTRR, CENTRAL PLATTED AREA, PROD. /6%-2D WHEREAS, pursuant to due and proper notice according; to law an assessment hearng,was held on the 8th day of October, 1970, relating to storm sever, Central Platted Area , and WHEREAS, all persons present desiring to be heard were heard and their objections, if any, were noted, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE AF PLYMOUTH; MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: "l. The Village Clerk has, with the assistance'of Sonestroo, Anderlik, Rosene & Associates, Engineers heretofore selected by this Council for such.purpose, calculated the proper amounts to be specially dseessed'for Storm Sevor, Central Platted Area , against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land,, in accordance with the provisions of law, and has prepared and filed in his office tabulated; statementsInduplicate showing the'proper description of each and every lot,.` -piece or parcel of land to be specially assessed in the amount calculated against the same, 2. Notice has been. duly published as required; by law that this Council would meet in; special session at this time and place to pass on the proposed assessment. 3. The proposed assessment has at all times since its filing been open to inspection and copying by all persons interested, and an,opportunity has been given to all interested persons to present their objections,- if any, to such proposed assessment, or to any item thereof, and _ a objections have been filed.
