Staples, Jr, at 7 t 45 p.m. Pranent: Mayor Staples, Trunteos O'Fallon, Renner, Hagen and Hunt, the Village Adminintrator, Attorney and Engineer. Invocation was given IV. Rev. Jack E. Jacobsen of the Kingsway Lutheran Church. MOTIUN for Truatee O'F tllon, second by Trusteo Hunt, to approve the minutes of the regular meetings of May 2. 1966. Otto Bonestroo, Consulting Engineer, described to the assembled Alternate Projects A, B9 C & D - the routing and estimated cost of each. Recommended approval of Project D at a cost of about 6,OCj0,00, including open out of I. 494• Upon question by Trust- ee Aunt, Mr. Bonestroo stated that when sewer is extended to the north, the prae tical :routing of the interceptor is along Plymouth Creek, Following the Enginee:e' a presentation, tie Mayor opened the meet- ing to questions and comments from the floor. "Ile, the undersigned, are in favor of postponing the blaok- topping of the roads in the Creekwood Heights area until sewer laterals can be laid, providing said laterals can be laid in 1966." Signed by 16 property owners - 31 .lots involved. 2. "No, the undersigned, are property owners in the area known as Creekwood Heights* We want to cmphasize that we are most anxious to have our streets completed with all possible haste and that we do not want any delay in this regard caused by any consideration ;o: putting in sewers." Mayor Staples pointed out that residents in the area specifically asked to be removed from the sanitary sever plan at public hearing; held in the fall of 1965. Upon question by Trustee O'Fallon, Otto Bonestroo stated that all of the area could not be served without installation of an interceptor along Plymouth Creek. The matter of contract for nompletion of the roads and possible penalk}r was brought up. t•;;kyor Staples asked the V. Eugin- eer to discuss the possibility ol' delgy iu blacktopping with the road contractor and report at the May 16 meeting.
