SANITARY SEWER I,'-TROVEVELITS Otto Bonestroo, Consulting Engineer, reported on Bid Opening held April 22 for Sanitary Sewer Project 66 -IC and recommended awarding the bid to Peter Lanetti Construction Co., low bidder. Otto Bonestroo reviewed plaits for Sanitary Sewer Project 66 -IE, completing all laterale .,aet of 1. 494 with the exception: of a small section around 26th Avenue where the streets are to be put into better grade. Recommended approval and setting bid opening for 1day 279 1966. Motion passed tty a five ,yea vote. Trustee Hunt advised the Council of a call from a resident on Syc- amore Lane regarding the possibility of installation of sanitary sewer laterals before surfacing of the streets in the area as in- cluded in the 1965 Street Improvement Program. The Encrineer ad- vised that the surfacing coL.ld be deferred but that pe.itions for the laterals should be in h)p May 9. Mayor Stapled pointed out that the area was included for lateral installation in the original .pro- ject, but vas turned down by renidento at the Public Ilearin. . Otto Iioneatroo reported on Alternate Plans A, B, C & D for install- ation of Sanitary Sewer Trunk 46. A disoue3inn was held regarding opan outtint4 I. 494 bofore paving is done with a resulting saving of atout $15,000.00. MOTION V. Trustee Hagen moved- ar. amendment to the mat,ion to limit use of the plastic Ripe to 10o of the total 57,000 feet awarded to date. The amendment died for lack of a second. RESOUTTMS & ORDINANCES Following comments that ci.tizeits inquiries had been received re- garding a municipal water system, Mayor Staples introduced the following Resolution ar.d moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NC. 66-591P A RESOLUTIOP: AUTHORI"INC A COST ESTIMATE OF A FEASIBILIT'. CTUDY AND REPORT on the establishment of a municipal water system for the Village of Plymouth, which estimate to to urdi,rtaken and. submitted to the r;ouncil blr Bonestroo, Rosene, Ard- erlik and Aszcciates. The motion for L ption was soconded by Trustee Renner and passed by a five yea vote. MVor Staples pointed out that Fed,lral funds may be available for this purpose and will be applied for in June. Otto Bonestroo anted that the cont estin:. ate will be ready for submission by the Juno 6th meeting. The Attorney reviewed the p-.cposed "Ordinance Providing for the Regul•.tion of Signs within the Village of Plymouth and Repealing All Prior Ordinanceet Relating Thereto".
