MINUTES OF VII,I.AGE COUNCIL MEETING
PLYMOUTH, FINNESOTA
March 15, 1966
Pursuant to due call and r_itice thereof, a special meeting
of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota
was duty held at the Village Hall on the 5th day of March,
1966 at 10:15 A.M.
Present: MaSyoe Staples, Trustees O'Fallon, Renner, Hugen
and Hunt; also present the Villar,e Administrator,
Attorney and Engineers.
Absent: None
Mavor StFples introduced the following resolution and mo-icd
RESOLUTION 66-26 its adoption:
REJECTING BIDS ON THE BEACUN HEIGHTS STORM SE',tU AREA 1X
That the bids received pursuant to advertisement for the Resolution 66-26
installatioh of the deacon Heights Storm Sewer Area 1X Rejecting bid Bea^on
av s;id bids are set out in Schedule "A" in above are Heights. Storm Seger
hereby rejected. Motion was seconded by Trustee O'Fallon
and upon vote being taken ,.hereon the .following voted in
favor thereof: Mt yor Staples, Trustee O' Fallon, Kenner,
Hunt and Hagan. Against: hone. 1%%ereupon said resolution
was declared duly ; 3;3scd and adopted.
Consulting Engineer Otto Bonestrao rt -viewed the Sanitary
Sewer Bids received on March 4. The low cf $774,595-00
from Peter Lameli UonsLruction Company was lower than
Engineer's estimate. Tn regards to the area that would
be effecterl. by joint tunneling with the Beacon Heights
Storm sewer project, Boneatroo reported the following:
443,000.00 Engineers estimate for this area.

These figures indicate that .for this ,3pecific urea the
bid received is only ten thous,md do]gars more for the
fermunont ;sewer route than the Engineers estimate for
ie temporary sewer route. If the temporary route is
constructed, with its lift station :viii forced main that

loss might be closer to $82,000.00. Trustee Hunt stated

Motion for adoption of the forego -Ing resolution was
seconded by Trustee O'Fa11.on and upon a vote being taken
thereon the following voted in favor thereof; Mayor
Staples, Trustee O'Fallon, Renner, Hunt and Hagen.
Against: None. Whereupon said resolution was declared
duly passed and adopted.
