Staples, Jr. at 7:45 p.m. Present: Mayor Staples, Trustees O'Fallon, Renner, Hagen and Hunt, the Village Administrator, Attorney and Engdneer. Absent: None. Mayor Staples requested the Council and audience to rise for a moment of silent prayer. Mayor Staples requested the Engineer to contact Richard Cox and Arthur Carlson of NIP regarding the matter and submit a rot+ort on the same at the February 21 meeting. SEVER CWGES The Attorney reported on a meeting attended b, 'Trustee O'Fallon and the attorney for Mrs. Lillian Begin regarding operation of the dump she maintains at Fernbrook Lend and Co. Fid. 9 and his suggestion that she receive a permit from the Fire Chief Wore burning accumulated gash.. Trustee Bunt recommended that the Fire Chief check the feasibility of burning the pile of trees and the porsible smoldering problem. The Attorney eurgested that the Police Department take steps to see that the ordinance regulating dump operation is enforced. Mayor Staples advised the audience that flagranoiss of the ordinance should be reported to tae Police De- partment. The Administrator was directed to requeavi a report on the matter from the Fire Chief for the February 21 meeting. Administrator's report received recommending purnhose of a AC -&DC welder from the Nple. Welding Supply Co. for $4'_''1.06. Trustee Hunt brought up the possibility of purchase of portable generator - welder combination.
