Pursuant `to due call and notice thereof a SpOcial
Meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minne-
sota, was caped by Mayor Staples and duly held at the Village Hall
on tfie-23rd day of August, 19659 at 5:30 o'clock P. M.
Present: Mayor Staples, Trustees Curtis, O'Falli'n, and
eviour, the Village Clerk and Engineer.
Mayor Staples called the meeting to order.
Magor Staples introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:

2. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
return forthwith to all bidders the depos+ts made with
their bids, except that the deposits of the successful.
bidder and the n9A lowest bidder Phall be retained
until a contract has been signed."
Motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Trustee O'Fallon and upon vole being taken thereon tha following voto3 in
favor thereof: Mayor Stapley, Trustees Curtis, O'Fallon and Jeviour.
Against! None. Absent: Trustee Humphrey.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

Motion made by Trustee O'Fallon that all bldders who submitted
bids for the 1965 Street Improvement be notified and their bid bondb
returned, au thein bids were rejected, a%kept that of Alexander Construc-
tion Co., Inc. who were awarded the bid, and tLat an executeA copy of the
contract be forwarded to thtm. Motion seconded by Trustee Saviour and
passed by all Council mambers present. voting aye.
Motion made by Mayor Staples that the bid of Wm. W. Wear Re. Schiebe
Enavating & Grading Company oovering the improvement of the so-called PArk Site
Schiebe Park property, in accordance with bid specifications, be acceLatad, impvnmt.
in the amount of X179195.75 plus $2125.00 for the installation of the 1)
4 -seat swing set. Mntic.n seconded by Trustee Ot Ralon and the following
voting in favor thereof r Mayor Staple;. OFposedt Trustees 0' Fallon,
Ourtis and Saviour. Absent: Trustee l;umphrey. Motion died for lack of
a quorum.

Motion made by Trnuatee 01-fallon that all bide received
for work to be done on the improvement of the sco-called Schiebe
Park property be rejected. Motion seconded by Trustee Curtis
and the following voting in favor thereof: Trustee Curtis.
Opposed: Kayor Staples, Trustees O'Fallon and Saviour. Absaatt,
Trustee Humphray. Motion died for lack of a quorum.
Motion made by Trustee O'Fallon that the motioq Ac-
cepting the bid of Wm. v. wear Excavating do Grading Co. is the
amount of $17,195.75 plus an additional cost of $?.45.00 for
the swing set for the improvement of the so-called Schiebe
Park property be reconsidered. Motion seconded by Kgor
Staples and passed by the following voting in favor thersoft
Mayor Staples, Trustees O'Fallon and Saviour. Opposed: Trustee
Curtis, Absent: Trustee hunphrey. Motion carried.
