Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a 3eyular Meeting; of
the Village council of the Villare of Plymsouth, Minnesota, was duly held
at the "Illa;-e Nall on the 11th day of Sty, 1964, at 7:30 oselook

be requestin; his permit at the present time; he stated he would need
a little additional time in order to make his decision as to what he
will do. As no definite tate was set, In order to bring the matter to

request for a pen.-dL by Lon Johnson be postponed until the neat meet-
ing, or May ib`th. If +'r. Johnson does not ap,,eaar at `Lis meeting, it
will be a;ain postponed until the meeting of June 1, 1964, and a
letter will be directed to Mr. Johnson requesting that Pie make his
appearance at that meeting in order that a decision may be made as to
his intentions, and the :utter closed. Lotion seconded by Xeyor
Staples and passed by all Council members present votin.; aye.
Motion made by Trustee OeFallon that the application of
Clifford E. Haley for a 3.2 On ami off -Sale license for Gorham's
Tavern at 2135 West m=edicine Lake Drive be postponed until the meet -
ins of Fay 18, 1964 in order that Trustee Curtis, Chairman of the
License Coasittee, may be present. Motion seconded by Trustee
Clifford and passed by all Council members present voting aye.
Motion mads by Trustee Humphrey that a building permit be
issued to Lloyd lhvm, 9855 State Highway 75, for an addition to the
rear of his 'nmildia;# subject to his signint of an agreement to be
prepared by the Village Attorney in which he agrees that no outside
storage of oozes, baskets, etc. (or :ateriale that would generally
be considered unsightly). Motion secan-ad by Trustee O'Fallon and
passed by all Council me:tkiers present voting aye.
Messrs. Bruce Kelley, d Clapp and Jack Branch, represent-
ing the Minnesota .cater Company, Inc., appeared to further discuss
the granting of a water fra:,chise to than.. They had previously sub-
mitted a report to Council members in answer to questions submitted
by the Villa;;e Attorney and hmm sneer. Trustee Clifford stated he
felt it was premature to ca -mit the Village to a private water
System when we presently have three private systems, two of which
the Village would take over in the reasonably near future under
certain circumstances. The developers stated it was their intention

to serve Hughes list Addition, Creentree Forest Additions, Candle-
light Terrace Addition and Oakwood [fills Additions, and possibly
take in additional areas, although at the present time no owadt-
ments have been mads with any of these areas. They stated they
plan an Overhead storage tank and that they do not anticipate anny
problem in installing a well of sufflcirnt capacity to take care of
the area they propose to aervs.
Motion made by F4yor Staples that the plan, in his opinion,
is premature and he felt that the sewer installation program should
be first established and therefore feels the franchise should be
denied, rbticn seconded by Trustee Clifford and passed by the
following eotin in favor thereoft Mayor Staples and Trustee Clif-
ford. Abstainedt Trustees Hiimphrey and O'Fal]on. Absents Trus-
tee Curtis. Motion failed for lack of a quorum.
It was suggested that the developers submit a more
concrete plan as to the area that would be involved and possibly
contact some of the contractors who are working in :he area and
obtain their opinions as to the installation of a water system.
It was suggested that if the developers are further interested
they should submit more specific information in the matter.
Park gond I_sue Mr. Herbert Swanson# Chairman, Park 4 Recreation Advis-
for September 8, cry Commission, was present and submitted copies of a letter to
1964. the Councilmen with reference to their request to place before the
voters at the September 8th Primary ..lection, a .350,000.00 Park
Bond issue. Mr. 5waraeon stated that if approval for this bond
issue were given, they could set up a program for the neat ten to
fifteen years for the Village.
Potion made by Mayor Staples that tentative approval be
given to tho Park Commission for the bond issue and that they sub-
mit to the Council their detailed plans as to where parka will be
located, their sizes, and an .stimated cost of improvements pro-
posed, in order that the public would be aware as to haw the flails
would he expended if the bond issue is approved. Notion seconded
by Trustee Clifford and passed by all ;o ureil members present
voting aye.

Motion seconded by Trustee Clifford and passed by all Council
members present voting aye.
Re, Right & Left Motion made by Trustee Humphrey that the Village Attorney
Turn tones, Rwy. 55 be - rested to prepare a resolution to the County and State resuest-
County Rd*. 70 & Ing ::light and Left turn lanes on Trunk Highway 55 and County Roads

Re. Traffic Problems, k discussion was hold with reference to the traffic
Gold Bond .Stamp Co. problem a Trunk Highway 55 and County (toad 6 and leaddrttz into
Par4rw Lot. the (fold '+and :+tamp Caapamy parking lot. It was agreed that a
letter be directed to a representative of the Gold bond Stamp
Company requestin, that they appear at the May 18th meeting to
further discuss this problem.

to the alignment revision for Vicksburg Lane between County Road 6 and
State Highway 55 was considered. It was WTeed that the six property
owners in final Addition and abutting, Vicksburg Lane be notified to
appear at the May ?8th meetin-. at which time the cost of the revised
aliEtment would be presented to them ani they would have an opportun-
ity to inform ube Council if they are agreeable to assuming Lhe coat,
estimated to be $1,730.00.
