M. Presents Nayor Staples, Trustees Curt s, O'Fallon, NumphrsyandClifford, the Village Clerks Attorney and Lziglnser. Absents Bions. Mayor Staples called the meeting to order. Father George 'Seaham o the St. Joseph's Catholic Church nave an invocatory prayer in behalf of the council. Copies o: the minutes of the regular nesting of April 13s1964aswailedtoeachCouncilman# were approved. A Public Hearing, was held in accorda:.cs with official pub lication to consider the instal.Ution of street lighting in Plymouth 1-1anor Addition, which includes Vicksburg lane f +xr County Road 15 to 3rd Avenue North; County Road 15 from Ranchview tans to VicksburgTantsand2ndand3rdAveta:es. Several residents from the area were present and the Village FkEineer explained a report he had proparai setting out the number of lights proposed to be installed and the annual cost for the operationof the Utlhting system. Mr. Gane Kretchraer of the Northern Stanwa Power Campang was present to explain the lightirA; system that was proposed to be installed# as well as the comber of lights and carat affect this would have upon the area. After everyone was hoards the Public Hearing was closed by Mayor Staples. It was the Couaeil10 feeling that several problems should be solved first, of which ware, (1) It and when soar would be Installed in the area involved and Meat problems would a rise if the water system were installed prior to the installation of a sere system, and (2) It eau also felt that sufficient time should be allowed for a thorough study of the rsports submitted by the Village Engineers Attor- ney, and also the Planning Candmalonn after which the following motion was adopted. Motion made y Trustee Curtis that the proposed water fsamohise as submitted by the Minnesota Water Company be postponed to son future date in order that the Council may have ample time to sonsider the report submitted by the Village Engineer# Attorney and Planning Commissions and also for study of the sewer Installation problem that may be involved. Mrs Bests Chairman of the Samar Study Committee, appeared to submit a report as to the progress being made by his Con nittee.
