Village Council of the Village of P17woutha Minnesota, was duly held at the
Village Hall on the 2nd day of March, 1964, at 7030 o'clock P. M.
Present: Kaye Staples, Trustees O'Fallon, Humphrey and Clifford,
the Villa&e Clerk, Attorney and Engineer. Absent: Trustee Curtis.
Mayor Staples called the meeting to order.
Rev. I-+ndblom of the St. Philip Lutheran Church gave an invocatory
prayer in behalf of the Council.
Copies of the minutes of the angular Meeting of February 17, 1964
as ,.roiled to each Councilman# were approved subject to the following correc-
tion: In the fourth paragraph, Page 3, after the words, •additional
building", should be inserted, "or further sub -divides".

Motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution has duly seconded
by Trustee Honphre7 and upon vote being takes thereon, the following voted

Mayor Staples requested that the preceding question be
placed on the agenda for the Regular Meeting of March 90 1964.
Motion made by Trustee Clifford that the request of the
N. W. Bell Telephone Company for the installation of buried cable
on 26th Avenue at Troy Lane and on Urbandale lane be referred to the
Village Lzineer for recommendations and placed on the agenda for the
meeting of March 9, 1964. Motion seconded by Trustee Humphrey and
passed by all 6ouncil members present votin; aye.
Motion made by Trustee Humphrey that the contract with
Harrison -Brauer -Hippel for plannin;;, engineering and landscape archi-
tectural services for a Village park in the vicinity of County load
73 and State Highway 55 be accepted, said contract being for $750.00.
Motion seconded by Trustee Clifford and passed by all Council members
present voting aye.
Motion made by Trustee Humphrey that Harrison-Brauer-Rippel
be authorised to prepare a contract for park planning and engineering
for various parks in the Village of Plymouth, said contract to be at a
cost of $2,800.00. Motion seconded by Trustee Clifford and passed by
all Council members present voting aye.
Mayor Staples re -appointed Herbert Swanson Chairman of the
Park and Recreation Advisory Commission. Mayor Staples also suggested
that each Councilman submit a name for consideration for appointment to
the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission, said names to be submitted
at the next meeting on March 9, 1964.
Motion made by Trustee O'Fallon that the request of Abbott
Laboratories for a building permit for the construction of an office
and warsh, mase building in the Minneapolis Industrial Park area be
approved su,'set to the approval of the plans by the Village Engineer.
Motion secona,l by Trustee Clifford and passed by all council members
present voting aye.
Notion made by rustoo O'Fallon that the Council go on record
as being interested in the construction and coat of storm sewer with
the Village of Minnetonka for the drainage of the area in the vicinity
of Plymouth Road and Ridgemount.Avenus, and that the Village Ent3ineer
work with the Engineer of Minnetonka Village to further this project.
Motion seconded by Trustee Humphrey and passed by all Council membees
present voting aye.
