Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the
Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
5th day of O.:tober, 1970. The following members were present:
Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Kindseth and Spaeth. Mayor Hilda was absent.
Councilman Johnson introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 70-404
A RESOLUTION
COMM MING FRANCIS D. HAGEN
FOR SERVICE TO THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH
WHEREAS, FRANCIS D. HAGEN has been employed as Village Engineer for the
Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, since September 9, 1969; and,
WHEREAS, he has tendered his resignation effective October 9, 1970. to
enter private business; and,
WHEREAS, FRANCIS D. HAGEN has discharged his duties as Village Engineer
in a most commendable manner reflecting great credit to our Village
and himself for helping maintain a sound, affective municipal
government which has been reflected in benefits to our citizens;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH:
That FRANCIS D. HAGEN is hereby commended for his excellent
service and dedication to the Village of Plymouth while
serving as Village Engineer.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Village Clerk is directed
to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to
FRANCIS D. HAGEN.
The motionforthe adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly
seconded by Councilman Kindseth and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Kindseth
and Spaeth. No one voted against.
Whereupon the Resolution van declared duly passed and adopted.
