Pursuant to due call and notice thereof. a regular meeting of the
Village Council of the Village of,Plymauth, Minnesota was held on the
5th day of October. 1970. The following members were present:
Councilmen Johnson, Hintz. Rindseth and Spaeth. Mayor Hilda was absent.

Councilman Hintz introduced the following Resolution and moved its

RESOLUTION NO. 70-407
WHEREAS, the Village of Plymouth has been requested to make an
appointment of an authorized representative and make application
for federal funds in relation to the educational program for drug use
i.
and abuse.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF PLYMDUTHt
?J The Village Manager of the Village of Plymouth is hereby appointed

i� to act as authorized representative and make application for federal
funds to support the establishment of an educational program relating
{� to dr
ug use and abase for a two year period starting July 1, 1971.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly
seconded by Council== Spaeth, and upon vote being taken thereon, the
it following voted in favor thereof: Councilman Johnson, Hints, Riddasth

and Spaeth. No one voted against or abstained.
I` Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned. being the duly acting qualified Clerk of the
village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully
compared the fosegaing extract of the minutes of a regular mating of
the Village Council of said Village held -an October 5, 1970, with .the
original thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true
and complete transcript therefrom insofar as the saw relates to the
educational programifor drug use and abuse.
