Present; Trustees Keefe, Kreats and Tagv*, the Village Clerk, Engineer and Attorney Pearson substituting for Attorney Lefler. Absent; Mayor Anderson and Trustee Theis. Trustee Keete, Mayor Pro Tees, called the Meeting to ander. Mr. Verea, Engineer from Minnesota State Highway Depart - neat, appeared and presented a map showing the proposed layout of State Highway 494 from highway 55 to the north Village limits. The Council Members were dissatisfied with the insufficiency of underpasses or overpasses betweep the east and West portions of the Village. As the proposed highuagy goes through the =pproxLmato center of the Village it is very nem"&Ty to have additional crossings for bettor eommal .atim between the east and west portion, of the Village for public safety. lir. Vevea stated that the highway between Hi#mWs 12 and 55 is proposed for the fiscal Tear of 1963 and frac Ri*mW 55 to the north Village lisits is the fiscal year 1964. The Council agreed to pass a Revolution setting out the necessary requirements of the Village ad submit the Resolution to the State Highway Deparbmt. Motion wade by Tag" that the request of Wades* T. S1ettm to construct a bmw with a 45 ft. set -back from Ridgemoumt Avenue and a 191 ft. side line set -back from Deeruood Lane be granted. Said property being located in Lot 20 Block 30 Shortline Addition. .Notion seconded by Kreats and passed by all Council Members pr-6*mt voting aye.
