HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Minutes 01-17-1961Lrsu. air- ?� 1261 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Regular Meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was duly held at the Village Rall on the 17th day of January, 1%1, at 8:00 kOelock i': M. Present; Trusteea; Keefe, Xreata, Theis and xngve, the Village Clerk, Engineer and Attorney. Absent; Mayor Anderson. The meeting was called to order by Trustee Keefe, Mayor Pro Tarr Minutes of Meetings of January 3 and January 1C, 1961 were reAd and on motion approved. A Resolution was presentee reruesting the Waiving Reau rementa under the Village Platting ordinance in connection with the sale of a metes and bounds description of land in Section 30-118-22 and upon which a home has recently been built. Motion mads by Yngve that a copy of the Resolution be referred to the Planning Commission for a study and overall plan for a11 the property owned by Aubert Snyder and for which approval of the Resolution is recuested for a small tract which he conveyed to his daughter. That the Planning Commission submit a report and recommendation to the CaanciI as to how they feel the con- veyance of above tract will tie in with An overall plan of the owners land and also the provision for the necessary streets and roads. Motion seconded by Areata and passed by all Council Wembers voting age. Mr. Wayne D. bolt* and Loren Ahlatrand appeared with a request for a permit to erect apartment buildings on a tract of land on West Medicine Lake Drive and facing Page Avenue. Motion made by Ing" that the recommended Multiple Dwelling Ordinance prepared by the Planning Commiesion be turned over to the Village Attorney with the reouest that he draft a Multiplir Dwelling Zoning Ordinance for submission to Council fbr approval. Motion seconded by Theis and passed by all Council Members voting aye. Walter Sharrett, 2506 Lakeview Boulevard, appeared with a remest for a permit to reconstruct a horse which recently burned. There were two tomes an Mr. Sharrett's lot so it becomes a question if reconstructing the home would be in con- formwMae with the Village Ordinance. The matter is to be referred to Mr. Ern-st to discuss with fire Chief Hauer for a report om the amount of loss and if rebuilding of the home would 000piy with the Village Ordinance. Xr.
