HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Minutes 11-15-1960332 November 15, 1260 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Regular Meeting of the Village Council of the {pillage of i'lysioutb, Minnesota, was duly held at the Village Hall on the 15th day of November, 1960, at 8:00 -o'clock P. M. Present; Trustees Keefe, Kreatz and Theis and the Village Clerk. Absent; Mayor Anderson and Trustee Sahl.y. Trustee Keefe presided at the meeting ars Mayor Pro Toa. Charles H. John- Charles B. Johnson, 1014 Sunset Drive, appeared with °son re division a request to divide Lot 4, Bloch 3, Klausams ,Addition, into of Lot 4 Block two Lots. He was requested to bring in a survey of the lot <3 Klaus-..ans Addn. showing the division as he wishes it to be made. Notion made by Theis that a sign permit be granted to Sign permit the Food Village for tine erection of a Traveling Electrical Sign to Food Vill;;ge. to be erected in the parking lot in front of the building and along Highway 55. Motion seconded by Kreatz and passed by all Council Members present voting aye. Sale of dirt Motion made by Theis that tenative approval be given .fill by Jesse Jesse Theis for the removal of approximately 75,000 yards of 'Theis. fill dirt from his property. Final approval and the issuance of the permit to be considered if and when Mr. Theis enters into an agreement with the purchaser of the dirt fill. motion seconded by Katz and passed by all Council Members present voting aye. Re: Meetin ; on Motion evade by Knatz that a letter be directed to reassessment. Joseph '•obertson, Commissioner of Taxation, Minnesota State Tax Commission, requesting a meeting between Mr. Roberts=, the Plymouth League for Better Government, and the Plymouth Village Council. The purpose of the meeting being to discuss the petition filed with the State Tax Commissioner requesting a reassessment of properties in Plymouth Village. Motion seconded by Theis and passed by all Council :embers present voting aye. Sale of Savings Motion made by Kreatz that Saving Certificate Uo. ort. of 1raysata 2376, in the amount of $7,500.00, issued by the Wayzata State _ tate Ba'l:L. Bank be sell. That the funds received fres this corti.fieato be deposited to the General Fund of the Village of Plymsuth regular checking account. Motion seconded by Theis and passed by all Council Members present voting aye. approval of Motion made by Theis that Payroll Chocks 396 thru 432 Payroll Checks be approved.
