Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Special
Meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth,
Minnesota, was duly held at the Village Ball on the 30th day
of August 1960, at 8:00 o'clock P. K.
Present; Mayor Anderson, Trustees; Keefe, Kreatz,
Sah3,y and Theis and the Village Clerk.
The meeting was called by the four Trustees with
Trustee Keefe acting as spokesman.
The purpose of the meeting was to attempt to come
to an agreement amorig all Council Members to eliminate the
adverse publicity and criticism of Council Members of the
Village of Plymouth during the last several months.
The Trustees prepared s list of ten points against
Mayor Anderson in which he has failed to properly perform the
deities required by his office. Each item was stated and ex-
plained with Magor Anderson being given the opportunity to
make any statements he wished to defend the charges against
him.
The ten points brought out by the Trustees are
listed hereafter:
1. Independently terminated fire protection services
without council action.
2. Forced removal of appointed village personnel
without due process and without regard for qual-
ification, honesty and integrit of the per"
being reessved..
3. Failure to acknowledge findings of the State of
MAnnesota Department of Taxation and later stated,
"This man has got to go."
4. Active participation in meetings that have dis-
rupted the normal function of village council
business.
5. Failure to attend meetings as prescribed by law
where notice was given 5 weeks prior to the meet-
ing, (Plymouth Board of Review) and then releasing
notices to the press that he had advised the
council by letter when no such correspondence was
receiw*d.
E. Failure to use his abilility, to coordinate council
affairs.
7. Improper conduct of Village meetings.
8. Failure to cooperate with other municipalities in
matters of common good.
4. Agent for Performance, Labor and Material Bonds
where the Village is the Obligee and contractors
doing work for the Village as principle.
10. Making personal quotations in reference to Village
Council members that has brought adverse publicity
to the Village.

Atter the--itave Yas presented Trustee Keefe, an toahali
of the Council, asked t%at Mayor Anderson tender his rosignation
imediately. To this request Mayor Anderson stated he did not
intend to do so and that it would be followed up by a strtmeut
from him the next day.
On motion by Keefe and seconded by Sahly the Meeting
was adjourned at 9:00 o'clock P. M.
