HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Minutes 11-05-1957fiOYFAbhR 5, 1957 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was duly held in the Village Hall in Baia Village on Tuesday the 5th day of November 1957, at 2:00 olelocit P. M. The fallowing were present: Sahly, Ecxes, Theis, meats and the Clerk. The following members were absent; ,Keefe. Verified accounts numbered 505 thru ;59 were audited and approved by the Council. Treasurer Little arrived at 4:00 P. M. to sign and post -the verified accounts. Mfrs. Christensen and Miss Chouinard of the hobDin6dale Welfare Board appeared to Aiscuss various relief clients with the Council. Cdr. Carter of Lindsey, Carter & Associates appeared before the Council to discuss the Municipal State Aid Street System. The following members were present: behly, iodes, 4eefe Theis, and Kreatz and the Clens. The following ,members were absent; none. The minutes of the meeting of October 15, 1957 were read and approved by all Council members voting Aye. Hewitt Peterson and Fred Julious appeared before tLe Coancil requesting a tract of land they purchased along County roans 10 and 16 which contains an area about 41.5' aeep along County roaa id be zoned to industrial. After discussion they were advised to obtain a legal description of the area they wished zoned industrial and It would be considered by the Council for further action. :lotion was made by Thelau to grant a permit. to Vern Wrall to build a 22' X 26' garage on his land located east of the Village hall road on Highway 55.
