October 15. 1957
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting
of the Village Council of the Viiliage of Plymouth, Minnesota was
duly held in the Village mall iu said Village on TuGaday the 15th
day of October. 1957, at -8:00 o*vioct t'. La.
The following members were present: 6ahly, Leefe, takes,
Theis, Kreatz and the Clerk. The following members were aba6ut: hone.
The minutes ,�f the meeting of October 1, 1957, were read
and after making a correction in the resolution pertaining to the
Police Officers budget for 1956, were approved by ail Council members
voting aye.
'salter Milford presented a plat for the Church of bt. Mary
of the Lake covering 6.9 acres on Obunty Road No. i5 and adjoining
the Mayer Filling Station. He Dished to have this tract rezoned
fromoresiftntial-to commercial. Motion was made by Theis and
seconded, by Fc'des that t&e tract be rezoned to co ereial and that

publication to that effect be made. Motion was passed by all five
Council members voting aye
A plat was presented of Ryan's first Addition at suss Laine
to be approvers. motion was ,Wade by Theis that the request for a
twelve toot easement from the road in the center of the tract to
the lake be granted and that permission be granted to erect
residences thirty -rive feet bacx from the road on account of the
contour of the land. Motion was seconded by Ecxes and passed by
all five Council members voting Aye.
Victor Bertrand appeared to discuss the division of the
Special assessment for road improvements against the lots which
he owns. Motion was made by Keefe that the matter be tabled to
see if some consideration can be given to his assessment on account
of the.Park property in the area for which the Village. had
previously agreed to assume some of the street improve�tex�tr.:es�ress
anent. Motion. was seconded by Theis and passed by all:five Council
members voting aye,
John 'Were, a relief client, appeared again. After dorew
able discussion and getting nowhere with him he was advised to.
contact Miss Chouinard, of the Robbinsdale Welfare board,: and give
her all the necessary information she required before the Council

would give his case any further consideration.
Douglas B. Segar and dim. Sween appeared with a tentative
Plat of Lct 14, Wayzata Farmsteads, which they .wish to subdivide.
Discussion was held with reference to a thirty-five foot set bao�s
from the road for residences on account of the contour or the land
and planned location of residences and roads. They agreed to
submit a more definite plat for approval at a.later date..
Lotion was made by Kreatz that the appurtionAent of the
Hennepin Country Par's District budget for Plymouth Village for 1958
In the amount of 81,046.34 be levied against the taxpayers of the
Village and that Larry Hoeg, Charman of the board be -so, notified.
Motion was seconded and passed by a11 five members or the Council
eating aye.
Motion was made try 4reatz that the bid of Lohstreter
Electric Company of +eyzata. covering the installation of
wiring, lights and outlets in the Village garage in the mount
of $270.00 be accepted. x4otion was seconded by Theis and
passed by all rive Council members voting Are.
Motion waa . made and accepted to adjourn at 10:45 k. id.
