HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1970-379VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION APPROVING PLA'S AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, ;Minnesota was held on the 14th day of Septe-aber, 1970. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Kindseth and Spaeth, No one was absent. Councilman Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70-379 WHEREAS, pursuant to a Resolution passed by the Council on December 5, 1969, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for fj Project 069-1,8-A to install sanitary sewer along West Medicine Lake } a` E Drive from Goldie Avenue to 2811 Avenue and 2814 Avenue and has presented f ; j `isueh plans and specifications for Council's approval. t it NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COMCIL OF THE VILLAGE j i} OF PLYMUTH: "1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which are attached i { hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. i •. The Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in the Construction Bulletin an tt advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such a0proved plans and specifications. The adver- tisement shall be published for two weeks, shill specify the ! work to be done, shall state that bids will be opened and considered by the Council at 10:00 A.M. on October 9, 1970, in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall. and. that no € - bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the t Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's cheek, bid bond or certified check payable to the Clerk for 5% of { the amount of such bid." The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hintz and upon vote being taken thereon, the f; following voted in favor thereof:. Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, { 1. !; Hintz, Kindseth and Spaeth. No one voted against.
