The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hintz, Kindseth and Spaeth. Councilman Johnson was absent. it�t* Councilman Hintz introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70-355 WHEREAS, pursuant to an ;r advertisement for bids for the improvement of 36th Avenue North between Pilgrim Lane and Zachary Lane bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with I the advertisement. (Project N70-80 I BIDDER AMT. OF TOTAL BID { Jerome P. Begin $112030.80 M. bullock "Const. Co. 114,227.80 i� C. S. McCrossan, Inc. 100,324,80 Alexander const. Co, 116,683.20 Bury 6 Car 4on 120,317.00 Hardrives, Inc. 111,465.30 Bill Wear Exc. Co. 138,966.20 WHEREAS, it appears that C. S. McCrossan, Inc. of Osseo, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder.,. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY, THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: "1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with C. S. McCrossan, Inc. of Osseo, Minnesota in the,name of .the Village of Plymouth for the improvement of 36th Avenue North between Pilgrim and Zachary Lanes, Project #70-8C, according, tbathe plans and specifications therefor approved by the Village Council and on file in the office of the Village Clerk. 2. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized rmd directed to. return forthwith to a11 bidders the deposits made With their bids. except that the deposits of the successful bidder and `he next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed."
