Special Council Meeting
March 23, 2004
Deputy Mayor Stein called a Special Meeting of the Plymouth City Council to order at 5:04 p.m.
in the Public Safety Training Room, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, on March 23, 2004.
COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Johnson (arrived at 5:25), Councilmembers Hewitt, Bildsoe,
Neset, Black, and Stein.
ABSENT: Councilmember Slavik.
STAFF PRESENT: Finance Director Hahn, Community Development Director Hurlburt, Park
and Recreation Director Blank, Public Works Director Faulkner, Lieutenant Webb, Police Chief
Goldstein and Deputy City Clerk Gulbrand.
Public Safety Building/City Hall Expansion
The Council met with the Boarman Kroos Vogel Group and discussed the project's progress.
The architects from the BKV Group displayed a model depicting the planned addition, parking
and landscaping. Also displayed were floor plans illustrating the additions and areas being
remodeled.
Owner's Representative Bill Wolters presented a cost estimate for the project based on the
information from the Schematic Design booklet, which was distributed to the council.
