HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1970-269VILLAGE OF PLY nuyi Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held an the 6th day of July, 1970. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, councilmen Hintz, Kindseth and Spaeth. Councilman Johnson was absent. Councilman Hintz introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70-269 WHEREAS, a traffic report covering the Oakwood Hills I & II, Greentree and Greentree Forest, Pilgrim Lane to Lancaster Lane at 36th Avenue North was submitted by Police Chief Hawkinson and Engineer Hagen on June 30, 1970. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: The Acting !tanager is hereby'directed to institute the program as outlined as follows with respect to -the above areas: 1. A stpp'sign be installed on the SW corner of Shadyview Lane and 26th Avenue No. 2. A stop sign be installed on the SE corner of Trop Lane and and 26th Avenue 3. Paint crosswalks on both the east and west sides across 36th Avenue and Pilgrim Lane, and Slow -Pedestrian Crossing signs on both the north and south corners to slow traffic on 36th Ave. and Pilgrim Lane. 4. Crosswalks running east and west across Pilgrim Lane on the south side of 37th Avenue, and Marked crosswalks on the west side of Pilgrim Lane across 37th Avenue, and A stop sign on the SW corner of 37th Avenue and Pilgrim Lane. 5. Crosswalks across Pilgrim Lane at 37th Place on both the north and south portions of this intersection, and A stop sign on the NE corner stopping traffic on 37th Place before entering onto Pilgrim Lane. 6. A painted crosswalk at the intersection of 38th Avenue and Pilgrim Lane from the green strip Across to the school at the southerly portion of this intersection approximately 40 feet south of the actual corner, and }j A crosswalk on the western portion of the intersection of 38th Avenue and Pilgrim, also I �i Three stop signs, two to stop the traffic on Pilgrim Lane i going north and south, one on the SE corner and the other {! on the NW corner, and the third stop sign on the SW corner at 38th and Pilgrim Lane, 1 p i Page 2, Resolution No': 70-259 0 7. A stop sign on the 14E corner at the southern-most intersectior of Pilgrim Lane and Drlenns Lane. 8. A stop sign on the SW corner of 38th Court Worth and Pilgrim Lane. 9. A stop sign at the northern intersection of Orleans bane and Pilgrim Lane on the NE corner. 10. A stop sign on the SW corner of 39th Avenue and Pilgrim. 11. A stop sign to be installed on the SW corner of 40th Ave. No. t and Pilgrim Lane. �f 12. A stop sign to be installed on the S14 corner of Orleans lane !� and Pilgrim Lare. 13. A stop sign at Orleans Lane and Pilgrim Lane as we continue north on rhe SE corner to stop traffic on Orleans lane going north, before entering Pilgrim Lane. 14. A stop fign on Nathan Lane and Pilgrim Lane on the NW corner. 15. A stop sign on the SW corner of Pilgrim Lane and Lancaster Lane. The ;;nriin for the adoption of the foregoing,Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Spaeth, and upon vote .being taken,thereon, the followiug voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hintz, Kindserh and Spaeth. No one voted against. Whereupon the Resolution was declared -duty passed and adopted. i STATE OF MINNESOTA ) COUNTY OF HENNEPIN } SS.
