VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the
Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the
first day of July, 1970.
The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hintz,
Kindseth and Spaeth. Councilman Johnson was absent.

Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 70-249
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement
o: a storm sewer, Project #69-2D, in the Central Area of Plymouth as
listed below, at a cost of $790,424.50:
"That portion of the system west of Interstate #494 would begin
at Point 20, north of T.H.#55 and flow southerly similar to the
routing indicated in the 1968 M.I.P. Report until it reaches
Point 17A on Fernbrook Lane. Here the routing is south along
Fernbrook in a 66 Inch .pipe to Point 14 Where the West Bank I.P.
Trunk is picked up. The West Bank 11P. Trunk is, in this case,
reversed in direction of flaw relative to the 1%8 M.I.P.
Report but retains a similar routing. From Point 14 the direct-
ion of flow is southwesterly from Fernbrook Lane toward Parker's
Lake. The pipe in this segment varies from a 96 inch to a 102
inch conduit."
Bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law and the
_following bids were received complying with the advertisement.

WHEREAS, it appears that Northdale Construction Company of 828 Northwood

, Minneapolis, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH:
"I. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into the attached contract with Northdale Construction Company
of Minneapolis, Minnesota in the name of the Village of Plymouth
in the Central Area of Plymouth west of Interstate Highway #494
as specified above, according to the plans and specifications
therefor approved by the Village Council and on file in the office
of the Village Clerk.
2. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return
forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids,
except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next
lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.”
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly
by Councilman Hintz and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hintz,
and Spaeth. No one voted against.
Whereupon said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of the
Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully
compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a special
meeting of the Village Council of said village held July 1, 1970 with
the original thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true
and complete transcript therefrom insofar as the same relates to
Project N69 -2D of the Village.
WITNESS, My hand officially as such Clerk and the corporate seal of
the Village this 15th day of July, 1970. i
