WHEREAS, Police Chief Hawkfnsos has requested that comu.pdatione } be approved for Patrolmen Nielsen, Paulson and Saba. j NOW THEREFORE, Et IT H11=T RESOLVED ST THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF i THE VILLAGE OF PLTMDUTH: 1. Patrolman Diel O. Nielsen of the Plymouth Police Department Is hereby commended for his attention to duty, efficiency and skillful we of heart message and month -to -mouth rssreitation during an incident on Jugs 8, 1970. 2. patrolman Dennis Paulson is hereby commended for his alertness, efficiempy and attention to duty on Juse 6, 1970. 3. Patrolman Tbo Saba is hereby commended for his alertness, efficiency and attention to duty on June 6, 1970. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Johnson, aid upon vote being taken thereon. the following voted in fever thereof. Nayor Heide. Councilmen Johnson.. Slats, Kludeeth and Spaeth. Village Clerk 9,Tlymoutb NInumo s (Seal) EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was duly held at the Village Hall at 13800 State Highway No. 55 on the 1st day of July, 1970, at 7:30 o'clock p.m., Central Daylight Time. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hintz, Kindseth and Spaeth; and the following members were absent: Councilman Johnson. The Mayor announced that the Council would consider all bids for the purchase of $1,300,000 Temporary Improvement Bonds of 1970 as advertised for sale. The Village Manager presented affidavits showing publication of the notice of sale more than ten days in advance of sale in the Minnetonka Sun, the official newspaper' of the Village, and in Commercial West, a financial paper published in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which affidavits were examined and found to be satisfactory and ordered placed on file. The Village Manager presented the sealed bids which had been delivered to him prior to the time specified in the notice of sale and said bids were opened,!examined and found to be as follows: NAME OF BIDDER INTEREST RATES AMOUNT OF BID Piper, Jaffray & Hopwood 6.00%.1970-1973 $1,278,810.00 Robert S.
