HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1970-107Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 30th day of March, 1970. The following members were present: Mayor Hilda, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Kindsett and Spaeth. No one was absent. rer � *es Councilman Kindseth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70-107 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Part B of the Force Main Sewer connection to Minneapolis bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement. Roller 822,406.90 No bid Nodland Associates 850,200.00 27,270.00 DELETE WHEREAS, it appears that Northern Contracting Company of County Road 167, Hopkins, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: "1. The Mayor and Acting Manager are hereby authorised and directed to enter into the attached contract with Northern Contracting Company of Hopkins. Minn. in the name of the Village of Plymouth for the Force Main Sever Connection to Mimmeapolis. according to the Part B plans and specifi- cations therefor approved by the Village Council and on file in the office of the Village Clark in the amount of $358,841.30. Page 2, Resolution No. 70-107 !i 2. The Village Clerk is hereby authorised and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed." The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Kindseth and upon vote being taken thereon, ii the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilda, Councilman Johnson, Hintz. Kindseth and Spaeth. No one voted against. Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. tt: STATE OF MINNESOTA ) COUNTY OF HENNEPIN ) SS. VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH) I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Deputy Clerk of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a special seating of the Village Council of said Village held lurch 30, 1970, with the original thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom inso- far as the same relates to Part 8 of the Force Main Minneapolis Sever Connection.
