HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1970-1060 0 ! • VILLAGE OFPLTMOUTH RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a spacial meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 30th day of March, 1970. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, j Hintz, Kindseth and Spaeth. No one was absent. Councilman Johnson introduced the following Resolution and moved " its adoption: ii ` RESOLUTION N0. 70-106 it WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bide for the Force Main Sewer connection to Minneapolis bide were received, opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received on Part A complying with the advertisement. BIDDER G. L. Contracting. Inc. Nodland Associates, Inc. Hoffman Bros., Inc. Northdale Construction Co. Northern Contracting Co. P. Lametti Construction Co. Johnson Bros. Huy. b Hvy. Austin P. Teller Dycon Corp. AMT. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By THE COUNCIL. OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYNDUTBt "1. The Mayor and Acting Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with Northern Contracting Company of Hopkins, Minn. in the name of the Village of Plymouth for the Force Main Sewer connection to Minneapolis, according to the Part A plans and specifi- cations therefor approved by the Village Council and on file in the office of the Village Clark, in the amount of $432,328.50. 1 Page 2, Resolution 470-105 2. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, i except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed." } The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Rasolution was duly seconded by Councilman Kind.eth and upon vote being taken thereon, ? the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilda, Councilman Johnson, !I Hintz, Kindseth and Spaeth. VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH) I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Deputy Clerk of the Village of Plymouth. Minnesota, hereby certify that I have care- fully compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a special meeting of the Village Council of said village 'bald March 30. 1970, with the original thereof on file in my office and the sash is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom insofar as the sams ralaru to Part A of the Force Main Minneapolis Sewer Comeetion.
