Special Council Meeting
May 24, 2005
Mayor Johnson called a Special Meeting of the Plymouth City Council to order at 5:20 p.m. in
the Ballroom at the Plymouth Creek Center, 14800 34th Avenue, on May 24, 2005.
COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Johnson, Councilmembers Willis; Hewitt, Stein, and Bildsoe.
ABSENT: Councilmembers Black and Slavik.
STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Ahrens, Community Development Director Hurlburt, Police
Chief Goldstein, Park and Recreation Director Blank, Office Support Specialist Hoskins, and
Deputy City Clerk Gulbrand.
Youth Town Forum
The Plymouth Youth Council sponsored the annual Youth Town Forum. The focus of this year's
event was to obtain the viewpoint of youth on local issues facing Plymouth in the coming years.
The youth and council members discussed the following topics:
Youth Activities
Future Growth of Northwest Plymouth
Housing Affordability
Adiournment
Mayor Johnson declared the meeting adjourned at 6:25 p.m.
