CITY OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION NO. 97 - 766
ESTABLISHING A MUNICIPAL STATE AID STREET
AND REVOIMG A MUNICIPAL STATE AID STREET
UNDER PROVISIONS OF MINNESOTA LAWS OF 1967
CHAPTER 162
WHEREAS, The City of Plymouth and County of Hennepin have entered into a Cooperative
Agreement No. PW -I1-17.95 (City Project No. 402) by City Council approval through
Resolution No. 96-235; and
WHEREAS, The Cooperative Agreement provided for an exchange of a City Municipal
State Aid Street and a County State Aid Road; and
WHEREAS, The State Aid Office of Minnesots Department of Transportation has requested
that certain revocations and designations be made to the City's Municipal State Aid System.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the streets described as follows. To Wit:

Old Rockford Road - T.H. 55 to Polaris Lane
be and hereby is established, located and designated a Municipal State Aid Street of said
City subject to the approval of the Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of
Transportation
Rockford Road (Control Section 173) - T.H. 55 to Plymouth Boulevard.
and
Rockford Road (Control Section 161) - Plymouth Boulevard to Polaris Lane
be and hereby are revoked as Municipal State Aid Street of said City subject to the approval
of the Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that tim City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
forward two certified copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of the Minnesota
Department of Transportation for his approval of the new designation and the revocation of
stoma as noted above.
Adopted by the City Council on December 17,1997.
