CITY OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION NO. 97 - 762
REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO.3 AND FINAL
WEST MEDICINE LAKE PARK IMPROVEMENTS - PHASE II
CITY PROJECT NO. 7020
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Sunram Construction, Inc., as contractor,
have entered into an agreement for West Medicine Lake Park - Phase II, City Prefect No.
7020, said agreement being dated November 12,1996; and
WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the
final request for payment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That the original contract amount was $171,325.75. The value of the work to
date is $169,158.22 and is herewith approved. This project underran the
contract amount by $2,167.53 or 1.3%.
2. That the work performed by the contractor for West Medicine Lake Park
Improvements - Phase H end certified to the Council by the engineer as
acceptable, being the same, is hereby released from the contract except as to
the conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of the owner,
required guarantees and correction of faulty work after final payment.
3. Request for Payment No. 3 and Final in the arsaunt of $16,494.69 to Sunrem
Construction, Inc, for West Medicine Lake Park Improvements - Phase II is
hereby approved and the City Finance Director is hereby authorized and
directed to pay the same forthwith.
Adopted by the City Council on December 17,1997.
