CITY OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION NO. 97 - 736
REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO.6 AND FINAL
1996 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 6002.
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and C. S. McClOssan Construction, Inc. as
comractor, have entered into an agreement for 1996 Street Reconstruction Project, City
Project No. 6002, said agreement being dated May 17,1996: and
WHEREAS, the Fng'rnear has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the
final request for payrrueat.
NOW, THEREFORE? BE IT HEREBY REROLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That the original contract amount was $1,184,254.32. One (l) change
order was approved in the amount of $4,400.00 and the value of the work
to date is 51,1260498.88 and is herewith approved. This project does not
exceed the revised contract amount.
2. That the work performed by the contractor for 1996 Street Reconstruction
project and certified to the Council by the engineer as acceptable, being
the same, is hereby released from the engineer as acceptable from the
contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all
legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty
work after final Payment
3. Request for Payment No. 6 and Final in the amount of $22,529.98 to C. S.
McCrossan Construction, Inc. for 19% Street Reconstruction project is
hereby approved and the City Finance Director is hereby authorized and
directed to pay the same forthwith.
Adopted by the City Council on December 3,1997.
